🕒 Daily Routine: wake up, get up, go outside, go for a walk, spend time, sleep in, earlier/later

Do you like summer? Why or why not?

Yes, I like summer because I like sunshine, the sea, and spending time with my family on holidays. I can go outside and relax with my friends.

What is the weather like in summer in your country?

It’s usually hot and sunny, but this year it’s colder than last year.

What do you wear in summer?

I wear a T-shirt, shorts, sunglasses, and sandals. I like wearing nice summer dresses.

What do you eat or drink in summer?

My favourite summer foods are watermelon, salads, and fresh orange juice.

Do you go on holiday in summer? Where do you go?

Yes, we try to spend time together every summer. It’s the time to chill out. We love spending time at the beach. Croatia is famous for nice places.

Do you swim in the sea, a pool, or a lake in summer?

I like swimming in the sea. It’s my favourite place.

What time do you get up in summer? Is it different from winter?

In summer I wake up earlier than in winter. The days are longer than in winter.

Do you like summer sports? Which ones?

Yes, I love swimming and cycling. I often go cycling when the weather is nice .

Do you spend more time outside in summer? What do you do?

Of course! I do gardening, take our dog for long walks, and go to the open-air cinema.

What is your favourite thing about summer?

My favourite thing about summer is relaxing by the sea with my family and friends.
