Questions and Answers
Q: What kind of films do you like? Why?
A: I like fantasy films, animated films, and documentary films. Animated films are brilliant when you want to switch off and simply have a good laugh. I enjoy learning new things about history and nature, and documentary films are perfect for that. If you’re in the mood for some action, magical creatures, and beautiful landscapes, then it’s time for a fantasy film.
Q: Do you have a favourite film? What is it about?
A: My favourite film is Spirited Away. It’s an animated film about a little girl named Chihiro who finds herself in another world full of spirits. Her parents are turned into pigs, and she has to save them and herself before they all forget who they are.
Q: Which character do you like the most?
A: There’s a little black bird and a chubby rat who are unlikely friends. The bird usually picks up the rat and tries to fly away with him. They’re very cute.
Q: Do you like going to the cinema?
A: Yes! Especially when it’s a new fantasy film. I buy a big bag of popcorn and enjoy watching it in comfort of the cinema.
Q: Where do you watch films?
A: On TV or I stream them on different websites.
Q: Do you have any film collection? On DVD or tape?
A: I wouldn’t call it a collection, but I do have some animated films on DVD. These days, I don’t think it’s really necessary to have a film collection—you can find almost anything online.
Q: Which actor is your favourite?
A: Alan Rickman. He always brought a touch of humour even into serious roles, and I love his deep voice.
Q: Do you enjoy books or films more?
A: Definitely books. You can use your own imagination to create the characters and story in your mind. Films often cut out a lot of details from books because of time limits, so you miss many parts that are in the original.
Q: Do you like the bad guys or the heroes more?
A: It depends. Sometimes the villain has a tragic backstory that makes you sympathise with him. Other times, the hero is such a great character that you can’t help but support him.
Q: Would you like to go to a film festival?
A: Oh no! There are too many people. I don’t like big crowds.
