Grammar point: Comparatives & Superlatives
Comparatives are used to compare two things:
• This jacket is warmer than my coat.
• These shoes are more comfortable than those boots.
Superlatives are used to compare one thing with all others:
• This is the warmest coat I have.
• That is the most expensive dress in the shop.
