English word order = Subject + Verb + Object + Place + Time

Slovak word order	English word order
Každé ráno Anna v kuchyni raňajkuje.	Anna has breakfast in the kitchen every morning.
V parku sú deti.	There are children in the park.
Na lavičke sedí starý muž.	There is an old man sitting on the bench.
Ona pije kávu.	She is drinking coffee.

 

✅ English has a fixed word order.
❌ On the bench sits an old man. (not natural)
✅ There is an old man sitting on the bench.
